This Privacy Policy explains how the QR code Creator Tool iOS application (“the App”) handles your information. The App is developed and operated by Ruslan Kovalev (“we”, “us”, “the developer”). By using the App, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is designed to collect as little information as possible.
The text, URL, or other content you enter to generate a QR code.
The visual customization choices you make, such as colors, gradients, borders, captions, padding, shapes, and icon placement.
Images you choose for use as QR icons from your Photo Library, Files, or Camera.
Generated QR previews and exported QR output.
This information is processed locally on your device using Apple system frameworks. We do not operate a backend server for QR generation, we do not receive your QR content, and we do not store it on our servers.
If you enter a website address and use the icon or favicon feature, the App may make a direct request from your device to that website in order to retrieve its favicon or declared site icon.
This means:
We operate no backend server, no user account system, no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising SDK, no tracking system, no QR proxy service, no redirect service, and no relink infrastructure.
The App does not use third-party SDKs for QR generation, analytics, monetization, or user tracking.
Your text or URL is used solely to generate the QR code you request.
Your styling selections are used solely to render the QR design you create.
If you choose to fetch a website icon, the entered website address is used solely to request that website’s icon directly from the website.
If you export or share a QR code, that happens only when you explicitly choose to save, export, or share it.
The App does not rely on third-party SDKs, analytics tools, ad networks, or external QR generation services.
QR generation and rendering are handled locally on-device using Apple-provided frameworks.
If you choose to use the optional favicon feature, the App connects directly to the website you specified in order to retrieve the website’s icon. Any handling of that request by the destination website is governed by that website’s own terms and privacy policy.
The App may request access to certain device features only when you explicitly use related functionality.
Camera — to capture a photo for use as a QR icon.
Photo Library — to choose an image for use as a QR icon.
Photo Library Add Only — to save an exported QR image to your Photos library.
Files access — to import an image from Files or export a QR file to Files.
These permissions are used only for the specific action you choose.
The App does not require account creation.
The App does not maintain remote user profiles or cloud-stored project history.
Your QR content and design choices are handled locally on your device unless you explicitly save, export, or share them.
If you use the optional favicon or website icon feature, the retrieved image may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other rights owned by the website or another party.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any image, icon, logo, or brand asset included in your QR design.
The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The App does not track you across apps or websites.
No advertising identifiers are accessed.
No analytics profiles are created.
No usage data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or store user data on our servers, there is no account to access or delete with us.
To remove locally stored app data, you may delete the App from your device.
To remove exported images or files, you may delete them from your Photos library or Files storage.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
